Annet Namata, a wicked Ugandan woman has been handed a two-year jail sentence for forcefully feeding her stepdaughter menstrual blood.
She was handed the sentence on Thursday at Mukono law courts after pleading guilty to the charges she was facing. The court’s magistrate Patience Koburunga was however lenient with the wicked woman as she reduced her sentence from 7years, claiming that she was a mother of three other young kids and had also saved the court’s time by pleading guilty to the charges.
Interestingly, the courts ruling did not go down well with Namata’s husband who was left unsatisfied. He wanted the court to jail his wife for a longer time.
Namata was arrested about two months ago after her husband made a formal report to police officers, following a tip-off from neighbours who had witnessed her on several occasions mixing her menstrual blood with food before giving her stepdaughter.
She allegedly stated that she opted for the weird act after being angered by the preferential treatment the girl was receiving from her father.
