A woman has come to light that she killed her own child for resembling former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Sevelina Mwihaki Kamau made the confession while denying accusations that part of her murder reasons was that the eight-month-old baby declined to drink the milk she had bought her. As she appeared before Kibera senior resident magistrate,Renee Kamau.
Reports Indicate that the prosecution of the case told the court that she hid the baby for a while.
However the neighbors noticed that the little girl had been missing and decided to lodge a complaint at Kilimani Police Station.
The prosecution also revealed that Sevelina frequently abused marijuana and that she took the drug before, during and after the pregnancy.
The magistrate ordered that Sevelina should be taken to Mathare Mental Hospital and barred her from taking a plea.
Until the psychiatric exam was finalised and results presented before the court, the magistrate denied her bond
