Jalang’o’s controversial Boys Club WhatsApp Group
Radio Presenter Felix Odiwuo alias “Jalang’o” has finally come out clean on the controversial Boys Club WhatsApp screengrabs which have been circulating online.
Through a lengthy Instagram post, the former Churchill Show comedian noted that the past few days have not been easy for him and his friends since the story broke out and the drama began on social media.
He went on to explain that the WhatsApp group had been around for years, adding that it’s intended purpose is different from what has been portrayed by tabloids.

The Milele FM presenter claimed that their main goal when creating the group was spreading positivity and discussing meaningful ideas that would bring development among members of his circle.
Jalang’o insists that the conversations were not in any way trying to objectify women and blames bloggers for twisting and pushing a different narrative which suggests so.
“Yes we agree that it was our group and it has been there for soo many years and through it, we have achieved a lot in developing ourselves in different fields more so investing, which was the sole reason for it. The boys are not just friends but people we grew up with from childhood, went to school together, and achieved a lot together,” read part of his post.
The father of two also rubbished earlier reports that he had been suspended from work as a result of the scandal that seen even prominent entertainers such as Ted Josiah condemn him for supposed abuse of privilege.
He also denied being part of the leaked sex tape that is going viral as being from the apartment, and that none of his friends is part of it.
“I have not been sent to any compulsory leave, my two weeks annual leave began last week and I’ll be back on radio in two weeks. There are videos going around, I can assure you none of them is us and it’s a lie that we created the group to share women amongst us, that’s a lie. That day we were having random boys chat and that’s how the photos you see came up,” he said.
Jalang’o went on to accuse Blogger Edgar Obare of holding an ill motive against him, recalling that the two have clashed before.

He mentioned that the damage he (Obare) had caused them is irreparable and that homes have been broken from his act, but together with his friends, Jalang’o will not sue him.
“What does it benefit you when you do all this? The damage you’ve caused us can never be repaired Edgar and I assure you that were it that I was a bad person this would not have ended well. We will not sue you or follow on anything and we will just let this pass but you’ve broken families. We have lost businesses and top clients who have pulled out on us. It is ok and we understand them, no one would want to be around us now,” Jalang’o told Edgar.
Jalang’o finished off by saying that he had lost businesses from many clients, but he will take it as a lesson, as he also asked for forgiveness for anyone that they have offended.
