Joseph Kinyua, the man who married Wambui Wamae Kamiru in 2007 but later lost her to former Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore, has finally spoken.
According to local Kenyan blog The Citizen Weekly, Kinyua has announced that he holds no grudge whatsoever against the late Bob.
The blog quotes an unofficial source which claims that the man who was once accused of domestic violence by Wambui is ready to “reconcile” with his ex-wife and “push on with life”.
Many Kenyans have reacted to the news story with some accusing Mr. Kinyua of only being interested in the wealth that Collymore left behind for his widow.
A few years ago, Wambui left her ex-husband and their two children for the wealthy CEO and later filed for divorce with Kinyua firing back with an infidelity lawsuit.
The blogs goes on to claim that one of the ways through which Bob won Wambui’s heart was through his random gifts to her including a brand new Toyota Lexus just after she had separated with her then husband.
In court papers, Collymore was named as a respondent in the divorce case but he claimed through his lawyer that he met Wambui Wamae Kamiru when she was divorced.
