President Uhuru Kenyatta flew to Jamaica’s capital Kingston on Monday evening. It is during this state visit aimed at deepening relations that Uhuru Kenyatta revealed that his brother Norma Kanja-Muhoho Kenyattas mother-in-law.

Back to the Kenya Jamaica bilateral agreement; President Kenyatta paid tribute to Jamaican Pan Africanists such as Marcus Garvey and the late Dudley Thompson who was among Jomo Kenyatta’s lawyers during the Kapenguria trials.
Andrew Holness, the Jamaican Prime Minister supported Mr. Kenyatta on his call to increased relationship between the two countries.
“Jamaica, Kenya relations are deeply rooted. It is well documented that our first national hero The Right Excellent Marcus Mosiah Garvey had significant influence on Jomo Kenyatta, the first Prime Minister of Kenya and later its first President,” said the leader.
