Two months after being separated from her daughter owing to Covid-19, Pierra Makena says the experience has taught her not to take things for granted.
Taking to her social media, an excited Pierra penned
‘REUNITED WITH MY BABY AFTER ALMOST 2 MONTHS.
AND NOW THE REAL DAWN OF REALIZING THAT ONE MIGHT NOT EVEN WORK FOR A WHILE…
FOR A MINUTE I STOPPED THINKING ABOUT ME AND THOUGHT OF ACROBATS..BANDS..EMCEES. ETC AND I AM GLAD THE GOVERNMENT HAS REMEMBERED THEM.
DON’T GET ME WRONG FOR CELEBRATING THIS..REASON BEING I AM CONFIDENT THAT THE GOVERNMENT HAS A PLAN FOR EVERYONE ELSE..
IF ARTISTS HAVE BEEN REMEMBERED THEN U CAN BE SURE THERE IS HOPE FOR EVERYONE ELSE.
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN. ONE DAY AT A TIME.’
Makena had earlier opened up on how the separation from her daughter due to Covid-19 affected her.
‘IF YOU KNOW ME…YOU WILL KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE MY BABY.
BEING SEPARATED HAS BEEN ONE OF MY WORST NIGHTMARES.
I GET ANXIOUS. I GET SLEEPLESS NIGHT.
I THANK GOD FOR MY FAMILY WHO ARE EXTREMELY SUPPORTIVE AND ASSURING ME EVERYDAY THAT ALL WILL BE OK.’
Sharing a photo of herself and her daughter Makena further penned
‘THANKYOU @VEEJAYSTUDIOS FOR THIS MEMORY..😥😥😥😥😥& @RUTHODHIAMBO FOR STYLING. 5 MORE DAYS TO GO.
MAY GOD PROTECT US ALL.’
