The politician from Benue donated over 100 ropes
There was drama in a village in Benue’s state capital after a politician Daniel Ukpera made a donation of ropes to the goat-rearing communities to tie their livestock.
Pictures circulating on social media showed Ukpera donating more than 100 ropes to the communities. It is reported that the locals cheered and clapped in ululation as he presented his gifts. Ukpera said the initiative was in support of the state anti-open grazing and ranches establishment law introduced by the state governor due to increased cases of farmer-herder conflicts.
He also reiterated that the donation would further help in the ongoing campaign against open grazing and prevent animals from roaming the streets.
A Benue politician, Daniel Ukpera has just donated ropes to the people of his community so they can use it to tie their goats.
The only sad part to this is that the people are okay with this.
They should use that rope to tie him to a tree and beat him mercilessly like a goat. pic.twitter.com/tp2GVaSKUI
