What would you do if one of your colleagues defiles your under-age daughter?
A Ugandan police constable attached to a local police station in Jinja shamelessly decided to defile one of his colleague’s underage daughter.
The 12-year-old had been left under the care of the ‘fisi’ by her father. It is alleged that the constable slept with the minor for two consecutive nights, a situation that left the young girl traumatized and profusely bleeding.
“I had left my daughter under the care of my colleague but he instead defiled her. She was bleeding profusely and on inquiry, she confessed that the suspect slept with her for two consecutive nights,” said the girl’s father.
The suspect has since been arrested and is still in custody as further investigations continue. This was confirmed by the region’s police spokesperson, Ms. Diana Nandawula.
Here is what she said. “The victim has been examined and once our file is complete we shall forward it to the Resident State Attorney for legal advice on the preferable charges against the suspect.”
