A prison warder who on Tuesday committed suicide had spoken about it on Facebook.
Isack Ojwang also left a suicide note saying that he loved his wife so much, further saying that he had left his family in the hands of one Emmanuel Omoit.
“By the time you are reading this ntakuwa nmeenda, mahali nimefika am just done. I am tired with the life I am leading,” part of his post read.
“Diana my love I love you more than I love myself. Emmanuel Omoit I leave my family to you, take care of them because you know my wife more than I know her,” it further read.
A police report seen by this reporter which was filed at Kamagambo Police Station, reveals that Ojwang had committed suicide by hanging himself while he was serving his leave.
The report further revealed that the officer appeared depressed and had a history of domestic feuds with his estranged wife which made him resort to heavy drinking.
It also emerged that the officer had in a few days to his death used social media to express his feelings and predicaments.
The country has in the recent past experienced an upsurge in the number of people who had resorted to committing suicide.
