Nyeri Town Member of Parliament took to his Facebook page on Wednesday to issue warn all Jubilee politicians who occupy a leadership position in parliament or senate.
His statement began by stating changing Jubilee Parliamentary leadership and aligning it to the President’s agenda. He said those majority leaders and whips in both national assembly and senate were nominated by the party to champion the President’s agenda in the house.
Ngunjiri went on to say that they would not allow those meant to promote and defend the president’s position to attack and undermine his agendas as it happened in 2019.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is the Party Leader of the Jubilee Party. The leadership of the house – the Majority Leaders, Whips etc – in both National Assembly & Senate were nominated by the Jubilee Party to champion the President’s agenda in the house – strictly – as the President articulated in the first Jubilee PG on 30/8/2017.
In 2020 the ‘President’s Men’ in Parliament will ensure that all these assets that are meant to work towards promoting & protecting the President’s agenda in Parliament are aligned with ALL his agenda. We will not allow those meant to promote & defend the President’s position to attack and undermine it, as happened in 2019.

The MP reminded people of how Mwangi Kiunjuri left the cabinet and put the current majority leaders on notice.
Huu ni mwaka wa kufanya kazi. Which means we will not allow anyone to be an obstacle to the delivery of services to Kenyans, certainly not for the sake of personal political interest(s).

Other reports are suggesting that President Uhuru Kenyatta is considering to enter into an agreement with Baringo Senator Gideon Moi to make him the new Majority Leder of the Senate. This move will ensure that the president has control of both houses to assert his agenda before his retirement in 2022.
Senate Whip Susan Kihika is also reported to be removed from her position. This is after she barred from entering the venue where President Kenyatta handed title deeds to residents in Nakuru County.
No plans, however, have been mentioned to remove National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale.
