Robert Burale is accused of faking that he tested positive for COVID-19
As Covid-19 spreads and public concerns rise, Popular motivational speaker Robert Burale is on the receiving end of netizens who have accused him faking that he tested positive for the virus.
Ever since the country’s Covid-19 cases have hit 8250, at least two celebrities, Robert Burale and Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, with no history of untrustworthiness have come forward with to claim that they have tested positive for the respiratory virus. In leaked chats seen by Uhondo News caused a tantrum at Nairobi Hospital in order to create confusion.
“Huyu msee ( Burale) amechukulia hio video observation room. Amesumbua nurses ati ooh I can’t breathe. Call professionals na Spo2 ( Oxygen saturations) zake zikoabove 95% – hio level ni ya msee anabreathe independently. He actually caused a tantrum aekwe Oxygen and he didn’t even need it,” read the chats.
Kenyans wasted no time to blast him as others argued that he wanted to get paid to say this in public while others reprimanded him for putting on a cap while in ICU.
In a social media post, Burale narrated his experience with Coronavirus after admitting to having tested positive last week. He went on to warn Kenyans to stay safe and thank people who prayed for him.
“For anyone who thinks this thing is a joke… may the Lord have mercy on you… I gathered courage and called a few people who have tirelessly prayed for me… and sent encouraging messages,” he said.
