NTV’s Swahili news anchor Salim Swaleh had a taste of Nairobi ‘Kanjos’ wrath a day ago after his expensive ride was allegedly clamped for failing to pay parking fees.
The news anchor had stepped out of his car to run some errands only to come back and find his car clamped.
The enervated journalist took to his Instagram to ‘threaten’ the county askaris, stating that he would replace the clamped wheel and drive off with their clamp.
“Kanjoo…nitafungua tyre niweke spare na nibebe hii na hiki kidude chenu,” wrote Salim
However, Salim’s post received mixed reactions amongst his fans, with a majority bashing him for failing to pay a mere parking fee despite his status.
Before joining NTV, Salim was one of the senior news anchors at Citizen TV. He stayed at the station for about two years before quitting, allegedly over corruption claims that he was facing at the station.
