They reiterated that in all the events that will be held in the county, either the governor, the Woman Representative or the area MP has to be the master of ceremony in all the events.
“We have agreed that, in case any function has to be done here, either myself, Sabina Chege or the senator will be the master of ceremony. In case non of us is absent, the area MP has to be the facilitator, “Governor Mwangi wa Iria said.
The leaders also threatened to ban harambees in the area noting that they are tarnishing the good name of the county.
“There is no need for people to invite people from Baringo, Kajiado and other far areas to come and do fundraising in our area. We have rich people who are able to help our people,” said one of the leaders while addressing the press.
