In September last year, Sharon Otieno was found brutally murdered in what later appeared to have been a messy love triangle involving Governor Okoth Obado.
But in case you though Sharon was the only one to have been forced to abort the baby, which was later confirmed that Okoth Obado was the father, then you were wrong.
According to the Nairobian, Rhoda Odie Nyakwaka was forced to abort her pregnancy after a reported secret affair with the Governor.
Rhoda is Obado’s sister-in-law. Rhoda and Obado’s wife share the same father, and her mother was inherited by Obado after her husband died.
The Nairobian states that Hellen Obado went bonkers upon discovering the secret love affair between Rhoda and her husband, who is said to have denied having an affair with Rhoda.
However, a member of the Kadika clan from Hellen’s side of the family said the affair between Obado and Rhoda had been an open secret for quite some time.
There were rumours that Obado impregnated Rhoda but the pregnancy was allegedly terminated after angry relatives accused her of crossing the blood line.
According to the Nairobian, their source revealed the affair started when the governor employed Rhoda at the county headquarters. One of the relative said;
“He even gifted her a house in Nyasare estate within Migori town.”
