Popular reggae DJ Kriss Darlin has officially joined the race to succeed the late Ken Okoth as the next Kibra Constituency Member of Parliament.
Kriss Darlin will be seeking to clinch the seat with an ODM ticket only if the party nominations favour him. He will be facing stiff competition from other ODM contenders such as Imran Okoth (Ken’s brother), Eliud Owalo and Edwin Sifuna.
The Kibera born spin master is the CEO of Dohty Family, a reggae and dancehall outfit that has moulded other celebrated disc jockeys such as DJ Moh who quit the outfit to form his own label called Moh Spice entertainment.
Kris Darlin hosts the popular Jamrock show that airs on NTV each and every Saturday from 10 pm.
