KTN news anchor Najma Ismail has landed an appointment as the Kenya Education Fund goodwill ambassador, an organisation whose main aim is to help needy students realise their dreams of getting quality education.
As a goodwill ambassador, Najma will be tasked with championing for KEF’s mandate of working towards a self-reliant Kenya through quality education.
The elated journalist took to social media to express her gratitude and honour to have been chosen by the charitable organisation.
“As an employee of the Standard Media Group, I am humbled and honored to have been chosen by the Kenya Education Fund team to become part of their noble cause of providing educational support to the less privileged. I am drawn to the impact KEF has on our country, giving Kenyans access to quality education to improve communities and break the cycle of poverty,” wrote Najma.
Najma is a very strong and influential role model to many, well known for her pursuit for women’s empowerment and gender equality.
