Kipchomba Murkomen is displeased with Jubilee party’s Secretary-General Raphael Tuju
Elgeyo Marakwet Kipchumba Murkomen has reacted to Tuju’s announcement barring the Deputy President William Ruto from accessing the Jubilee Party headquarters in Pangani, Nairobi to plan his 2022 campaigns.
Speaking to the media at an event on Saturday, Murkomen fired back at the party’s Secretary-General Raphael Tuju by reminding him he was only relevant because they campaigned for Jubilee and should not therefore attempt to block any Jubilee member from accessing the office.
An angry Murkomen also urged Tuju to reveal whose orders he was working on. Murkomen argued that Tuju was only a mere messenger acting on someone’s orders. The Elgeyo Marakwet Senator vowed to access the office anytime he wishes to as long as his contributions is used to pay the office.
In addition, Murkomen called for the firing of Secretary-General Raphael Tuju and Jubilee’s Vice-chairman David Murathe with immediate effect. Murkomen urged the President to start showing Unity by first uniting Jubilee and getting rid of those using divisive politics to cause chaos. Murkomen urged that the continued fights in Jubilee are as a result of Murathe and Tuju and they need to be fired.
