President Uhuru Kenyatta’s former Communications Guru Dennis Itumbi. He now operates from DP William Ruto’s office as secretary for digital.
Former State House Secretary for Digital and Diaspora Innovation Dennis Itumbi has expressed his delight after recording a massive achievement on Twitter.
Itumbi, who joined Twitter in 2009, has now official joined the league of the most popular and highly followed bigwigs on Twitter on with over 1 million followers.
Since he lost his job as a Digital Strategist at State House Itumbi has taken up a vicious social media war against the people who he feels are infringing on the rights of others.
The trained journalist has particularly turned against the government and Jubilee Party, strongly challenging the administration and it’s decisions.
Itumbi was particularly vocal on President Kenyatta’s decision to change the parliament’s leadership which saw Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and his Nakuru County counterpart Susan Kihika ousted as Leader of Majority and Majority Whip respectively.
The move saw Itumbi launch a scathing Twittet rebuttal in a bid to defend his associates.
Over the years, Itumbi has branded his Twitter posts under the hashtag “System Ya Facts” through which he counter attacks mainstream media stories targeting Deputy President William Ruto.
On Tuesday, he posted an appreciation message to his one million followers in which he also attached mobile phone airtime voucher numbers for those fast enough to load them up.
“I Salute and Pray for you all. I appreciate you ALL for helping grow this account from ZERO followers, to a #SystemYaFacts Social Media Newsroom! I remain committed to Fact.” he tweeted.
