State House Digital Communications Director Dennis Itumbi has claimed that he has more evidence linking four Cabinet Secretaries and a Parliament Secretary to Deputy President William Ruto’s assassination plot.
In an affidavit signed by his lawyer, Itumbi told the court he had audio and video recording that proofs a meeting between 4 Cabinet Secretaries and a Principal Secretary took place at La Mada Hotel in Nairobi with the main agenda being a plot to assassinate Ruto.
When told to reveal his sources, Itumbi said he had no plans on doing so because he’s a journalist and bound by ethics not to disclose his confidential sources.
“I refused to make any of the above 2v admissions having elected to keep quiet as allowed by the constitution. I request to play the audio-video content in court in camera,” he said.
Itumbi is currently detained at Muthaiga Police Station to allow investigators to complete their work.
