Sinach becomes the first African to top Billboard USA Christian Songwriters chart
Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter Osinachi Joseph, also known as Sinach has achieved an impressive accomplishment that proves just how she has been consistent throughout her career.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Sinach was happy to announce that she has topped the Billboard USA Songwriters chart. What’s interesting about the news is the fact that she is the first-ever black person from Africa to ever achieve the pretty cool milestone.
” So apparently We have been No 1 on billboard USA for Christian songwriter for 7 weeks !! Look at God!! First Black person
First from Africa … So grateful to God!! Thank you,” she tweeted.

Her hit song “Way Maker” which was released in 2016 has earned her that feat after steadily climbing charts. Taking to Instagram, she also went to thank people who have continued to support her, adding that without them, such feat would not be possible.
Congratulations to her!
