” Hello, sir George Theuri. I am Erick from Dandora slums and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my family. I lost my job four months ago and since then it has not been easy for us. I have a son of six month and a wife too to take care of but it has now been a struggle after another and going for days without food. My son is still breastfeeding but the mum is not feeding well and at times she falls into depression because of what we are going through.”
“The landlady is threatening to kick us out of her house over four month arrears and we do not know what to do. Sir George am reaching out to you to extend your compassion over my household.Any support will help us even if it is a job to help me support my family or just some food to see us through the next few days.”
