Early today Health CS Mutahi Kagwe confirmed the first case of the novel coronavirus in the country.
According to a statement by Kagwe, the patient is a woman who travelled from the U.S. to Nairobi through London on the 5th of March but she in stable condition and her temperature has gone down to normal.
The news comes after Saudi Arabia banned the entry of Kenyans to the country in a bid to combat the spread of coronavirus.
