As the 2022’s political continues to heat up, several politicians have been begun switching sides in their efforts to remain relevant. Another politician who has hinted at a prospect of him on shifting political camp is a long time Deputy President William Ruto’s antagonist who also serves as the Tiaty Member of Parliament.
Hon. William Kamket was responding to tirades directed at him by Baringo county MCAs who had taken a swipe at him for disrespecting DP Ruto and had threatened to impeach their KANU colleagues. Speaking during yesterday’s Mashujaa Day Celebrations at Marigat Boys High School, Baringo, the lawmaker asserted that politics is dynamic and there was still time before the next general elections. He thrashed impeachment threats, arguing that the MCAs could go ahead and do what pleased them.
“Do not expect politics to follow a straight line………we still have about two years which we will use for playing politics before the next general elections,” Kamket said.
A few days ago, Baringo MCAs threatened to impeach their KANU colleagues in retaliation of Kamket’s jibes against Dr Ruto. Kamket rubbished the ‘hustler’ political narrative and donation of assorted items like wheelbarrows and load-pulling carts associated with the second in command in Kenya.
