As Kenyans mourn the painful lose of Kibra MP Ken Okoth, the lawmaker’s family has come out to disclose the brave youthful leader chose to be removed from life-support machine moments before he died.
Okoth passed on Friday, July 26, afternoon, at Nairobi Hospital where he had been admitted in Intensify Care Unit (ICU).
On Friday, Imran disclosed the MP asked to be removed from the machines contrary to the family wish.
He asked to be removed from the life-support machine and as a family we had no option, we gave in to his demands,” said Imaran
The MP has been battling Colorectal cancer for quite some time and was early in the year flown to France to seek medication.
He stayed in Paris for close to five months undergoing treatment of the dreaded disease which had reached its advanced stage.
Okoth jetted back two weeks ago and has been going for medical check ups in Nairobi-based hospitals until his demise.
His body was moved to Lee Funeral Home.
