Kenya has tested a total of 5,259 samples and has found in the last 24 hours 544 more positive tests summing up a total number of confirmed cases to 19,125.
Cs Mutahi Kagwe addressing the nation on the daily brief said that 544 have tested positive from 5,259 samples tested, bringing total confirmed cases to 19,125.
The CS said out of the new cases, 340 were male and 204 were female.
Adding, Mutahi Kagwe said that over 600 health workers have tested posiyive to the deadly virus.

Further, CS Kagwe announced that 113 patients have been discharged from hospital, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 8,021.
Unfortunately, 12 patients succumbed to the virus under the same period, bring the total number of fatalities to 311.
