Bishop Margaret Wanjiru told off Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu after attacking DP Ruto
Former Starehe MP Bishop Margaret Wanjiru was breathing fire earlier today over Nyeri Town Constituency Member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu’s recent comments about the church.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Ngunjiri Wambugu had tweeted that Kenyan churches had been manipulated by Deputy President William Ruto. He urged the Church to reject DP Ruto’s current manipulation claiming that he had campaigned against the proposed constitution in 2010 which had made him the de-facto leader of the NO campaign.
The Jesus Is Alive Ministries religious leader ended up seeing his sentiments and swiftly responded asking him to go repent.
“Manipulated ni wewe siyo sisi. Go repent and ask your pastor to pray for you,” she responded.

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru is a close DP Ruto’s ally as recently he wished her a quick recovery after testing positive for COVID-19.
“We are determined to do everything within our God-given capabilities to check the spread and defeat Covid-19 and the GoK economic stimulus package will mitigate the economic damage caused. We stand with those being treated. Quick recovery gallant soldier of the Lord Bishop Wanjiru,” read Ruto’s tweet.
