Conman Gakuyo is making a comeback
Controversial Bishop David Kariuki Ngari popularly known as Gakuyo is simply disinclined in giving up on his real estate dream, despite the way his companies, Gakuyo Real Estate and Ekeza Sacco crumbled after being involved in a multi-billion scandal.
In a post seen by Uhondo News, Gakuyo-owned company has relaunched and claims that they have embarked on their journey to deliver their “promise” to its members. According to them, unsuspecting clients from Mai Mahiu and Mashuru have received their title deeds and have set Kilimambogo as their next project.
The bishop hasn’t announced any specific changes yet but sources privy to us says the company’s branding will “evolve” soon. However, angry Kenyans chimed in the comment section and asked for their savings and title deeds.
Check out some of the reactions below ;

Peshy Nimo Ndungu Kwani wamerudi have they paid the debts for those who had invested there?
Ev Bosco Muchiri I had resigned from the Sacco even before the scandal that is back 2017 Nov and given 60 working days for my refund to be transferred upto date it didn’t happen may the Lord see us through.
According to an incriminating audit report Gakuyo, who is also the bishop of Thika based church, Calvary Chosen Centre, is alleged to have swindled 53,000 members of his Sacco over Ksh 2 billion. He unlawfully transferred Khs.15 from the Ekeza Sacco accounts to the sister company, Gakuyo Real Estate, where he was the Managing director and his wife Hannah Wachu a Co-director.
Interestingly, only Ksh 507,900, 374 could only be traced to members who took out “loans” from Ekeza Sacco to buy properties from Gakuyo Real Estate. In March 2018, the then Commissioner for Co-operative Development Mrs.Mary Mungai revoked the Sacco’s licence following the scandal.
The “Man of God “met his wrath from irate members as they stormed his church while still in session and also beat up his lawyer, Samwel Mburu outside court buildings. However, he claimed that he refunded close to Ksh 200 million after reports emerged that he put his properties on sale to pay them back.
Will you fall victim a second time ??
