Babu Owino shared out his sentiments on Anne Kiguta’s the Punchline show
One of the most shocking and gut-wrenching moments this year occurred on January 17, 2020, when Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino allegedly shot Felix Orinda also known as DJ Evolve at B Club. He was taken into custody and prosecutors have been building a case against one of the most hated men in the Twitterverse.
Many people have been wondering when we can expect to have a verdict in the case surrounding the controversial ODM legislator who is accused of allegedly pulling the trigger on the DJ.
On Sunday, 24th May 2020, Babu Owino sat for a heated interview ( which has been pulled down on their Youtube account) with Anne Kiguta on her K24 talk show, Punchline. The anchor questioned Babu about the B Club shooting incident but he ignored and went on commenting how he has impacted students profoundly through his online classes.

Babu revealed that he couldn’t say much because the case is still before the court of law and accused Anne Kiguta of being in cahoots with the DPP in order to have him re-arrested. Apparently, Babu didn’t say anything for the remainder of the interview.
Anne Kiguta: It is the youth who you purport to represent who want to know about DJ Evolve’s shooting.
Babu Owino: If you are working for the DPP.., I will not be re-arrested. I am sorry and I am not going back to prison again…move on.
Unsurprisingly, the interview was met with backlash from netizens aking why Anne Kiguta delved on DJ Evolve’s shooting. Babu Owino’s attempted murder trial for the incident is still in court as DJ Evolve is still recuperating at the hospital.
How do you think this will end? Undoubtedly, Kenyans will be keeping a watchful eye on his impending trial. We will keep you updated on further details that develop.
