Renowned blogger Robert Alai and Kirinyaga Woman Rep Purity Ngirici have been involved in an ugly exchange online over their KCSE scores.
Trouble began when Alai put out a tweet seeking to know what Ngirici had scored in her KCSE exams at Kariti Secondary School.
“Good morning! Purity Wangui Ngirici scored what at Kariti Secondary School? Hebu guys share. She now claims to have what degree? Let’s clean the mess now,” Alai posted.
Responding to the blogger, Ngirici noted that her academic credentials are legit, adding that anyone with concerns should contact the relevant agencies.
Hitting out at Alai, Ngirici alleged that he had been suspended from Onjiko secondary school and sort to know why the blogger was removed from the school.
“My friend Fisherman, don’t bend your “big” head to ignorance and malice. All my academic records are straight and available with the relevant institutions. Instead tell us what made you get suspended in Onjiko Secondary,” she posted.
Responding to Ngirici, Alai posted a copy of his KCSE result slip where he scored a mean grade of B-, and challenged Ngirici to do the same.
“Ngirici na Ngiri sio mbali. Share your records here. This is my KCSE certificate. I am not a public official but I love transparency. Share yours…,” he posted
